Text: | 11/13 (SB) - I spoke with Ben Paul. He's interested in property and closes Friday. He had questions about grading the property as it is wet... I advised him to consult with a designer as there are orders to replace system before any ground work as he only has 1 acre to work with, which doesn't exclude buildings/driveways. He had design questions with respect to a pole shed and floordrain for a small detailing shop. I advised him to consult with a designer on this but very likely the floordrain waste would be a prohibited wastwater source. Wondered if it was okay to separate graywater waste from the SSTS (no). We agreed, he needed to find a designer, get a design and submit that for approval. He said he was going to jump on getting this done ASAP. He talked about likely needing an extension and I told him he needed a design and there would be no concern in granting an extension in January. He is goin to check with city on public sewer hookup. 9/28 (SB) - I spoke with Ralph Pierre. Ralph is nephew of Annette. The property is no longer occupied. He had questions on timeline to replace. They had a buyer, but they backed out, they are now worried they won't find a new buyer to take on the responsibility of the SSTS. His worry is that they will be stuck with it. We talked about the extension, but how we would need some form of progress which we typically expect a design or a construction permit in hand. I told him I would forward him some resources. We talked about abandonment or city connection. I sent him a follow up email. |
