Text: | Did boring at the site near both septic areas. There is reddish till that may have been confused for redox and the area is limited as far as finding similar contours and soil as the treatment areas. Based on soil observations at the site and the permit records the systems appear to have gone in as designed and meet separation. The system servicing the house needs to be repaired, but then can be used again; neither system really had any water actually in the system. I think the issue with the first trench is a nonlevel pipe or a pump issue putting out too much water too fast. - Alex Pepin 8/10/2017 |
